Another New Experience!!

I am SO excited I finally got to photograph my first "birth". I wasn't able this time to witness the actual birth, but I was with the family when they met the little guy for the first time. The raw emotion that was present was overwhelmingly beautiful. I captured some FABULOUS shots. I am so thankful this family allowed me to be present. It was a very bittersweet moment for everyone as they mourned the loss of their daughter, whom would've been 2 in just 1 month. Instead, they greeted Owen Gabriel just 3 days before Thanksgiving. Such a strong and loving mother and father- Owen is one lucky boy!!!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!!

November and December are one of my favorite times of the year- my son's birthday, Thanksgiving, my wedding anniversary and Christmas all are within a month of each other. Christmas is also my favorite holiday. This year I am SO excited for Christmas, especially for photos. I have tons of ideas!! I planned on taking a couple practice shots of my little guy (4 months old) and he fell asleep. All I can say is THANK YOU BABY!!! I got a ton of cute shots of him, but this was one of my favorites :D

Isabella's Cake Smash!

I absolutely LOVE cake smash sessions. I wish I could have a session every week. There's something about a messy toddler on a sugar rush that is so fun for me. This little girl was so much like my own spitfire daughter and it even shows in the pictures. She was also a screamer.. she was mad and screamed. Laughed and screamed. Ate cake and well.. screamed :) But like I said, I love cake smashes so it didn't matter that she got cake all over my living room- she was enjoying her moment :)
