Hello, welcome to my blog!! If you read the “About Me” section on Facebook, you already know I am an amateur photographer slowly trying to become a professional, but it has been a passion for me and it’s finally coming true.
A little bit of information about me in case you didn’t know- My name is Rachael Ramirez, am 24 years old and am the owner of Blueberry Baby Photography. I am a full time, stay at home mommy and have three beautiful children, Xavier, 5, Alexis, currently 16 months, and Xander, currently 4 months. Though I have my hands full at home, I still manage to find time to take classes at the University of Michigan- Dearborn. I am studying to become an Early Childhood Education major and young children have always been precious to me. I am married to my high school sweetheart; we were married almost one year ago, December 2011, though we have been together for almost 7 years. He is supportive of my decision to learn photography and I am lucky to have such support while I’m so busy at home!
Though I am just starting out as a professional photographer, I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. I received my first digital camera at the age of 12 and have only progressed since then. My biggest inspiration has been my children. They are just so darn cute (may be a slightly biased, mommy opinion) and they grow so fast that I always have a camera handy… Just in case.
Currently I am an on-location photographer, meaning I love the outdoors and natural lighting. However, as Michigan weather settles, I am making accommodations indoors for those looking for photos during the cool months.
I am specializing in maternity, newborn, young children and family photography, but am always willing to explore other branches of photography. I’m hoping to spread to love and joy through my art of photography for more families than just my own and look forward to capturing many amazing memories for you.
